Position: Senior Business Analyst

STP Investment Services Inc. is seeking a self starter/motivated Senior Business Analyst to join them in this newly added role offering a competitive salary and benefits package and

The successful candidate will assist with the deployment, implementation, conversion and integration
as it relates to the Eagle Investment Systems suite of products namely PACE, STAR, and Performance. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for the gathering of requirements where they will obtain a
complete understanding of data in the environment and flow across different systems, configure the Eagle front-end based on business needs, and provide ongoing user support of Eagle applications.
Additionally, this individual will provide recommendations on best practices for running Eagle applications efficiently. He/She will interact with the business users, traders, and portfolio managers to gather
requirements, convert them into functional specifications, and be hands-on within the Eagle product. Investment industry and financial systems experience are required for this position with technical skill
sets such as PL\SQL development preferred. This position requires excellent analytical and problem skills with an emphasis on attention to detail. Self-motivation and the ability to learn quickly are essential
skills in our dynamic environment.
Duties, Responsibilities, and Experience Requirements:
- Responsible for business analysis and front-end configuration of Eagle applications, data conversion, delivery of automated client and portfolio manager reporting, setting up of STAR/PACE workflows and automating them
- 2+ years experience in business analysis of the Eagle Investment Systems applications and 5 years overall experience in the Investment Management Industry
- In depth knowledge and understanding of Fixed-Income securities, Equities, Derivatives, etc.
- Conversion experience from legacy systems into the Eagle suite of products
- Understanding of data management, data migration, data marts, and reporting calculations
- Experience in organizing, planning, executing large scale projects from vision through implementation
- Experience in business process re-engineering, business systems analysis, process improvement involving broad-based information systems utilizing tools and techniques
- Create Performance calculations and rules in Eagle
- Understanding of the industry standard for investment performance such as GIPS
- Participate in and/or lead test and document planning, test conditions, perform and document solutions testing and defection resolution
- Provide conversion, implementation, post-implementation, follow-up, and onsite support and consulting as needed
- Technical skills a plus (e.g. PL\SQL,T-SQL)
- Self-starter, excellent communication skills, project management, leadership skills a must
Position: Performance Analyst

High Level Job Description:
The successful candidate’s core responsibilities include providing accurate and controlled performance data and portfolio analysis to external clients. The candidate is expected to
calculate and verify portfolio performance, attribution and performance composites for predominantly fixed-income mutual funds and portfolios. Other responsibilities include the generation of various client reports,
ad-hoc analysis, and benchmark return analysis.
The successful candidate will be actively involved in the performance development and enrichment process and will participate in the resolution of
problems and the establishment of changes to existing processes. This position requires a solid knowledge of fixed income investments, a thorough understanding of the concepts of security and portfolio return
calculations and an understanding of the mathematical formulas utilized to represent and attribute returns. The individual will identify, analyze and resolve problems with returns using guidelines and controls,
which he/she will develop and enhance. Additionally, this position will help improve current processes and efficiencies related to performance. The Individual in this position would typically have three to seven
years experience in performance analysis or related functions for fixed income investments, but years experience in this position does not necessarily equate to depth and breadth of knowledge although
it is contributing factor.
Duties, Responsibilities, and Experience Requirements:
- 3 - 7 years experience working with fixed income securities valuation and processing
- CIPM and/or CFA designations or active candidacy preferred
- Eagle STAR and Eagle PACE experience preferred
- Experience and knowledge of investment performance reporting requirements, GIPS and SEC reporting standards a plus
- Strong diagnostic, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to balance day-to-day production responsibilities with long-term project work
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
- Excellent organization, communication and time management skills
- Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics or Accounting preferred
- Ability and desire to learn and teach others
Position: Fund Accountant
Company Profile:
STP Investment Services Inc., a Financial and Technology service company located in Exton, Pennsylvania, is seeking a self starter/motivated Fund Accountant Administrator to join them in this newly added role offering a competitive salary and benefits package and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and progressive environment with unlimited growth potential.
High Level Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for aspects of the company’s fund and general accounting activities including daily cash/position reconciliations of account portfolios,
weekly and monthly NAV calculations, assisting in a SAS70 audit effort, liaising and resolving issues with other related service providers, and internal and company managed client reporting. The candidate will
also have the opportunity to assist in the engineering of accounting and reporting business processes at STP that will ensure robust, controlled, and compliant operations.
Lastly, the ideal candidate
will also assist the COO with overall administration of company.
Duties, Responsibilities, and Experience Requirements:
- Working knowledge and experience with Fixed Income securities.
- Solid general accounting and fund administration experience in the investment fund industry.
- Organization and project management experience and the ability to document accounting and operational processes and procedures.
- Be familiar with basic investment industry related financial statement preparation.
- Eagle (PACE/STAR) environment experience a plus.
- International accounting experience encouraged.
- Fixed Income short selling experience a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, analytical and communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft applications.
